The next day at school Tenchi gets in a fight with one of his classmates who said that Tenchi slept with a mummy. Tenchi then walks outside the school and falls asleep. When Tenchi wakes up at night he meets Ryoko who has returned to her more youthful form. After introducing herself, Ryoko proceeds to destroy most of Tenchi's school while a gas explosion caused by Ryoko finishes most of the job. After running around inside the school, Tenchi is cornered by Ryoko outside. By yet another twist of fate Tenchi is able to use the sword he found in the cave to defend himself against Ryoko. He even manages to cut of her hand which causes the pseudo-gem on her wrist to explode. Ryoko easily regenerates the lost limb and phases into the ground, just before the school explodes again forcing Tenchi to run like hell again.
