The universe's greatest scientific genius. Creator of the Soja,
Ryoko, Ryo-Ohki, and so much more that even she can't remember. (Now is when the
fun starts. Let Internet theory and rumors flow.). OK, Washu was once a goddess.
She was equally strong and powerful as her sisters Tsunami and Tokimi. However,
something happened and Washu's power was sealed in three gems. Washu was then
changed into a "normal" human and left to live amongst the people.
However (I use that word a lot. I need a damn Thesaurus.), Washu has regained
use of some of her power (she is equal in power to Ryoko minus the effects of
the gems, no demons, no lighthawk wings, no control of Ryo-Ohki). (Now back to facts) Washu created the Soja in one of her
attempts to conquer the universe. The reason Washu is in so much trouble with
the Jurain royalty is that she was always trying to either conquer or destroy
the universe. She has also invented several weapons of mass and minor (in her
opinion a galaxy is minor) destruction. Washu then created Ryo-Ohki from a Mass
and an unknown chemical element. A Mass is a very small organism that is capable
of "mass" destruction if provoked. It suited Washu's needs perfectly. Perhaps Washu's greatest creation is her daughter Ryoko. Refusing to ever
have a child with a man again after her husband took their baby and left her
because of social status (god, what a jerk), Washu used her egg cell and the DNA
from a Mass. Thus Ryoko's base power is a combination of Washu's and a Mass's
power. However (that damn word again), Washu used her three goddess gems to
grant Ryoko immeasurable power. Although (found my Thesaurus in my closet), I
will attempt to measure it. The three gems are serve to form a gateway to
Washu's goddess gems that have been hidden in another dimension. Should Ryoko
ever manage to attain all three of her gems she would be granted full access to
Washu's goddess powers when her body matures. |
