Ryo-Ohki is a cabbit. That is to say half rabbit, half cat. It's
a technical term. Ryo-Ohki has functioned as Ryoko's spaceship since her
creation. She was what carried Ryoko to Jurai during Ryoko's attack on the
Imperial Palace. Ryo-Ohki's power is so similar to that of Jurian ships that she
was able to pass undetected all the way to the Jurian home world. A feat that
has only been accomplished once, by Ryoko and Ryo-Ohki. Ryo-Ohki was hidden on earth after Ryoko was imprisoned in the
Masaki Shrine. She returned when Ayeka came to find Ryoko who had been awakened
by Tenchi. When Ryo-Ohki was destroyed after Ryoko used her to pull Ryu-Oh down
to earth, it revived as Ryo-Ohki the cabbit. The reason Ryo-Ohki is in the form of a cabbit is because of
Ryoko. On the first day of Tenchi's vacation (he awakened Ryoko on the last
day), he found a small cat about to die and nursed it back to health. Actually
Ryoko used the power from her nearly finished false gem to heal the cat. When
she was awakened and freed from the cave Ryoko was forced to assimilate the
power she granted the cat. And thus, when Ryo-Ohki was reborn she took on some
of the characteristics of a cat. Like most of the characters, Ryo-Ohki is in love with Tenchi. Her love nearly
gets Tenchi killed once. |
