Ryoko was sealed in a cave at the Masaki Shrine for over 700
years. She was sealed there by Yosho after she attacked the planet Jurai. It was
Ryoko's attack that was the only successful attack upon the planet Jurai. In her
attack she was able to destroy nearly the entire Imperial Palace. However, as
she fled the planet after her attack (which by the way, was a distraction for
Kagato to attempt to capture Tsunami) she was pursued by Yosho. After crashing
to earth along with Yosho, she was defeated and battle and her gems where used
to seal her away in "that damn cave". After being freed by Tenchi, she followed him to school, which
she destroyed. After having her hand cut off by Tenchi and losing her pseudo-gem
she returned to Tenchi's house and went to sleep in his bed where he found her
later. Ryoko and Ayeka constantly argue and fight throughout the
series. This is because Ayeka blames Ryoko for her brother's disappearance.
However, normally they both fight over Tenchi. Plus, Ryoko has a Galaxy
Police wanted file that stretches from Earth to Jurai. Ryoko's power comes from the three gems she wears (she only
wears one in the series but has three). These gems where created by Washu, who
also created Ryoko using her egg cell and the DNA from a Mass. Washu was once
one of the three goddesses (Tsunami and Tokimi being the other two) but for some
reason her power was taken from her and sealed in three gems. If Ryoko were to
obtain her three gems she would have full access to Washu's sealed goddess
powers. With all three gems, she would also be able to form ten lighthawk wings
(same number as Tsunami). Ryoko is truly the most powerful person in the series. |
