The original blonde. There is no one who can screw your day up
more than Mihoshi. If it's foolproof, she'll still find a way. I mean this is
the kind of girl you don't take into a glass shop. Washu seems to take a special
interest in Mihoshi even though Mihoshi destroys all of Washu's stuff when she
gets in her lab. Anyway, Mihoshi is a First Class Detective in the galaxy
Police. Now, you may say that since Mihoshi became a First Class
Detective anyone can. Well, you're wrong. While Mihoshi is a blonde and screws
almost everything up she somehow someway manages to gather more information that
is ever needed. Her report about Tenchi and his group of friends tied up the
Holy Council of Jurai for several weeks just so they could paraphrase it! Plus,
it doesn't hurt that her grandfather is the Marshal in charge of the Galaxy
Police. Mihoshi has/had a partner (depends on the series), Kiyone. Since
I have chosen to deal with the OVA, Kiyone is in only one episode, the Mihoshi
Special. Kiyone is the reason Mihoshi has advanced so far. On the other hand,
Mihoshi is the reason Kiyone has only advanced to the rank of First Class
Detective. Mihoshi is also a little bit of a slob and a junk food junky. This was one of
the reasons she crashed on earth while searching for Kagato. How did Mihoshi get
to such an out of the way place? She was given charge over the
"noninterference zone of the solar system". That means that earth is
an off limits colony of Jurai. No one goes there without Jurain permission and
no one interferes in the development (technologically, not genetically or
anything really strange like that) of earth. This turns earth into a sort of
sanctuary/resort for a few lucky Jurains (royalty/nobles but rarely anyone goes
to earth. It's just way out of the way.). |
